That old cold fist

His tiptoe all so ridiculous,

shaped the flowers, he

grins wider at the girls.

Yes, it’s one of those days today.

4.00pm, my the edges of my heart started to freeze. [And it wasn’t just because of the weather this afternoon]

I began to lose empathy for others. The colours around me faded away.

Enclosing myself from the outskirts of life, I closed myself spiritually.

The carpet of sheer cold that draped over my heart, made me so aloof.

I reached to my doorstep and I felt the warmth that thawed my frozen organ.

And then I ate a burger.
