Mod Love

I’m trying to combine mod and the drama from love. I love twiggy, she exudes cool London chic.

And when mention Mod, I would think, bright colours and geometric print but I just have to include the brown.

Since the fashion revolution started out in the streets rather than the runways first, we should take our cue from them (Even though it was half a century ago). Also referred to as “Youthquake”, the streets of London England were paraded by daring youths who went away from the conservative and went for individuality and personal style.

I’d love to be in one of those parades that can lead to a social or cultural change. It was wild, young and free but right now, it’s just young for me. Not even a rebel. To have such courage in oneself is such an inspiration.
