Gold Rush: Treasures of Ukraine

Are you drooling now? Because I am and I do want to see this exhibition.

Tuesday 29 May 2012 — Friday 26 August 2012

10am — 6pm daily.

Fee:

Adult $11
Senior (Tourists 60 years and above) $6
NSF (with valid 11B pass) $6 [I know right!]

Free
Child(6 years and under)

Student (with valid student pass)

If you’re into history and all things gold and ancient, this is the exhibition for you. Uncovered from the regions north of Black Sea, The National Museum of Singapore proudly presents the historical treasures with its embedded history of Ukraine in it.

I wouldn’t need to write much because all is mentioned in their website:

http://www.nationalmuseum.sg/ExhibitionDetail.aspx?id=68&cat=2

You know you want to find out what’s beneath the gold that has made it’s symbolism so much to explore and how goldsmithing has developed along time till the blossoming of goldsmith shops in the 20th Century Singapore.

I’ll be back with reviews, what I’ve learnt about the gold treasures and of course pictures!

UNTIL NEXT TIME!!
